TEDx UVA
TEDx UVA is an independently organized TED talk organization at the University of Virginia. The organization hosts bi-annual conferences consisting of both real world professionals and students. During my time at the University of Virginia I spent my 3rd and 4th year on the Graphics committee for TEDx UVA.
During my first year on the Graphics team I spent a lot of time learning from my peers and collaboratively producing media to help promote our conferences. During my second year on the graphics team I became a co-executive of the committee alongside my creative peer Abbie Weissman. As co-executive’s we worked to inspire, teach and collaborate in creating promotional graphics which led to our most successful conference in TEDx UVA history going from 40 attendees to over 100+ people tuning into our live virtual conferences.

Content I created in my first year as a general member of the TEDx UVA graphics committee.
The theme of the Main Conference was "Opposite but Equal." Therefore I created this logo featuring a reflective color design while incorporating TEDx colors and UVA elements, such as the statue of Thomas Jefferson.
The logo I created featured on the coffee sleeves of a local coffee shop while promoting our main conference.

Works I produced in my last year in TEDx UVA as Co-Executive of Graphics
This is the logo I created for the 2021 Main Conference. The theme was “Looking Backwards, Moving Forwards.” Therefore to incorporate “Looking Backwards” I decided to mimic the reflective surface of water by warping the left hand-side of the logo. Additionally I split the colors to emphasize the duality of mental reflection. In order to incorporate “Moving Forwards” I made the X appear to have chevrons to perpetuate the progressive and directional theme.

Advertisement Graphics that I created to promote the sale of TEDx UVA T-shirts. The T-Shirts were collaboratively designed by Abbie Weissman and myself.
Instagram graphics I produced to advertise applications to join TEDx UVA as a committee member as well as applications to speak at the conferences.
Posters that the Graphics Committee collaboratively produced. These posters feature “hot takes” from the event speaker’s speeches with a QR code to purchase tickets to the events.
